      This gorgeous strand is composed of gem-quality golden South Sea pearls from the Philippines. South Sea pearls are the epitome of luxury and the most valuable pearls produced in the world today. The pearls are perfectly round with clean surfaces and a striking gold bodycolor. This is as good as golden South Sea pearls can get! 

      South Sea pearls grow in the world's largest pearl producing oyster, which is why they often grow so large. The pearls in this strand range from 10.1-11.9 mm, which is considered a substantially large size. 

      The necklace is double knotted on twin-silk thread. The knots protect the pearls from rubbing and scratching against each other. Finishing the strand is a clasp composed of solid 14 karat gold.
